Hi guys, I have a little issue with my tiptronic on my 03 4.2. When in tip mode sometimes when I try to change gears it doesn't want to do so. I have to move the shifter around a couple of times or put it back into drive and back into tip mode again to correct it. And again after awhile same thing over and over. Any suggestions. Oh, BTW this happened after I replaced the shifter **** on the transmission.

 

What did you made to replace the shifter ****?

You have disturbed the well being of the tip shifter switch!
Reconfig-adjustment is needed (unless you are due for replacement).

Bentley has plenty of info - be cautious as there might be inaccurate data. (as always with Bentley)
