Thanks for the link Boston Driver. I saw them as a major distro/mfg. but it is nice to see that someone else has experience with them without wasting a thread asking what most probably already know. Did you get the USB? and which package do you recommend? they have a few full packages out there, but since I am not a shop I dont know what one I need. I refer USB since messing with Serial ports I usually only relegate to screwing with a Cisco Pix or some other ungodly antiquated piece of network HW.

 

Well I experienced the samething on my Audi even with the GIAC tip chip so I guess I have to use the vag-com recode. Thanks guys!
