Oh no doubt! Especially since we can change them out in 20 minutes per side! Its a total rip off. The problem lies in the flat rate system. If they paid the techs on a salary or hourly basis, i might actually want to pick up my wrenches again one day. I got tired of ripping people off to support myself.

I still consider charging $ 295 for a boot kit outrageous. The dealer probably has all the tools to make the job easy. I doubt it takes more than an hour labor. Even if they charge $ 125/hr (outrageous, too), "selling" for $ 170 a freaking boot kit that's $ 15 if you buy it on is just jungle-style business.
How the hell can you trust those ********?
