Default Trailer Hitch hookup

Trying to hook up a small trailer to allroad. The hitch is installed, but need an adapter to convert Audi electrical (European and not compatible) to US 4 prong. Any ideas?

Default RE: Trailer Hitch hookup

Just got the part from Audi dealer. Apparently they do make a harness that converts the factory installed 13 pin into a 4 prong typical in US trailers. Very few people are very knowledgable about this (Audi's aren't used much to tow apparently), the website is not helpful (no picture), and the part is fairly expensive ($150), but it will be done right, and that's what I wanted. Thanks for the help.

did you install the trailer hitch yourself? if so, what type did you use. I'm looking to put one on an A6 avant, but am not so sure about the looks... would you know if there is wiring in place?? would be great if you could post a picture of it! Thanks!
