Does anyone know what type of fluid is used in the transfercase of a 5HP24A transmission and rear differential? 2001 4.2L V8. Thank you

Yes, For both.

While you have it out change the tail/rear output seal on the transmission it gets a sag where the driveshaft sits.

I ordered mine from http://www.worldimpex.com/

This is the part number 018 409 399 B

I looked at the ZF website and they state that the transfer case needs STURACO FM 1992?? do I need it, it seems to be a friction modifier?? Thanks. The differential I am not sure if I need anything.
