After having an issue with my transmission with code P0730 and the transmission drive in limp mode only, I have decided to replace it with a used one instead of rebuilding it. I have heard that there are certain clearances with the torque converter between it and the flex plate/ flywheel. does anyone have any tips or recommendation or things I need to watch out for while replacing the transmission? Thank you

 

You should get the ZF transmission book and a Bentley manual(www.bentleypublishers.com). Try sending a PM to site_administrator he did his, or Auditech79 would know.

 

A decent transmission jack, it'll make all the differance in the world.
