Hi I have a 1998 Audi A6 2.8 and the problem is my transmission it wont go higher then 2nd gear and not faster then 20 mph what happen was that one of my sons hit it in the front it still drove it was a light hit the air bag didnt even go off my son drove it home that night and it ran fine sure the bumper and light was messed up and i later had to pull it well now it's all pulled and repaired but somethings wrong with the transmission and the check engine light is on the mileage is a little over 120k would a transmission flush fix it. thanks for any help.

 

Do a code scan and find out why the check engine light is on before doing anything with the transmission.
