So my switch went bad, I ordered a new one and the connector doesn't match the harness. My plug is round and the new plug is oval and I can't find the round plug for my car it's a 1999 Audi A6 Quattro. What am I missing I can't figure it out please help thank you

 

It's a 2.8 with 145559 miles, not exactly sure what transmission it has, I'm a fairly new Audi owner..
