I have a Audi 2005 A6,and since I bought it I had problem with closing my trunk. The dealer told me that this is normal. I have to slam it couple times to close it. Its hard for me to believe him so I was wonderind if this is true. Thanx

 

I don't know if this is helpful Lester, I have 2005 A6 and sometimes I have trouble with the trunk it isn't hard to close it is hard to keep it closed. It will intermittently open after being closed. I have noticed it happening mostly when the car is locked and I am just accessing the trunk. I have advanced key. If I unlock the car and close the trunk it seems to help.

 

Had a similar issue when I got mine..had my mechanic adjust a few things including the strike and things are all good.

 

I have had my 05 4.2 for more than 3 and a half years and never had the issue. It is not normal.
