On my 99 Avant I am having some turn signal issues. When I go to use the turn signals, I press the lever up or down, and it clicks in to place as it normally should but nothing happens. The turn signals do not work at all, not even on the display. I checked the fuse and it looked fine to me. Does anyone have any ideas on what else it could be, the bulbs them selves are fine because when I unlock the car all the lights blink. Any help would be great, we all know how expensive Audi shops are and I'm trying to keep my costs down. Thanks

You think that it would still be the hazard even though the switch works when I press it?

 

First off let me say that there are probably 100+ posts about this on the forum....Next time search first... but anyway, the blinker relay is built into the hazard switch.. the part is $25-30... 10 min. to replace....

 

Yep common problem. Just because the hazards work doesn't mean anything. The relay that controls the turn signals could be stuck open.

 

Where can I get that relay from?
