2001 a6 154,000 leaking oil from somewhere toward the top of motor and making it's way down, looking for help with a possiable cause. thanks

how long since the timing service?

new timing belt/accessories, do cam and crank seals then. If it is still leaking do the valve cover gaskets and half-moon seals.

 

Valve cover, cam seals, cam plugs, and cam chain tensioner seals and gaskets... Search! These were discussed more than once.

 

thank's for the tip's, my daughter just bought this car without me having a chance to check it out, now the guy wont return call's, so now i'm stuck trying to figure out what was done to the car. so agian thanks for the help
