Oil pan leaks does engin need to be pulled
I have a 2005 A4 Cab and the oil pan seal is leaking. I took it to a garage and the guy is telling me he needs to pull the engine to free and seal the oil pan. Any advice is greatly appreaciated.

How many miles? If you are still under warranty have Audi do it.
On the B5 A4 models at least, the engine has to be lifted to clear the front of the oil pan. The engine doesn't have to be removed, but it is not as simple as just dropping the pan.
