giac doesnt make chips for 4.2 vast does
giac tip chip absolutely sucks but vasts is awesome

Don't say something like that about a company when you have no clue what you are talking about

joe.... yah GIAC made a tipchip which works well with the car and not much dmg... The vast tipchip abuses the auto tranny to ****. Don't know what I am talking about???? LOL the fact that they use to sell GIAC chips and make there own now?? That is a simple fact in its own. How about you get some counter facts and stop talking out of ur A$$ plz?

Is the GIAC Tranny chip bad for the transmission? I'm thinking of getting it for my A6 but am not to sure if its good or if it will destroy my transmission.

 

TC problems are more common

 

I have been around audis since I was 14 years old im not saying i don't know anything but I have my credentials lined up there buddy... you made bold accusations so I called you out ... if you cant deal with that then you shoulda kept your mouth shut in the first place... yea im not a moron and i can put 2 and 2 together obviously vast has been influenced by giac

My experience with coding computers is EXTENSIVE yet i have not seen any code for audis ... im sure the two have similar principles

as for problems or being bad ... its a mod that is not stock of course it is going to have effects on the trans ... speed comes with a price

but if you are telling me that is is going to destroy my trans in 10000 miles i will take that $h*t out today lol

Have you had any problems with your tranny? How are the K04 turbos doing. I'm getting the V-Flow intake and eventually the diverter valves. Thinking about getting the bigger turbos and not too sure if the tranny is up to it.

 

Yeah if you beat the **** out of it on a daily base and you do 3k rpm launches. TC and VB will last for a while on <350hp 2.7's. VAST's tip chip is said to have better software. And this is from several different forums, not just AF.
