What brake pads to get?

I was looking at the Porterfield R4S pads, and for some reason, we are looking at $279 for all the pads needed for the car!!! Thats insane. Why is it so much more for the A6 than for just about any other car?

What pads do you guys recommend?

I have been using the mintex red box pads, and I am very happy with them. Less dust than stock with "near stock" wear..
