Wheel hub/bearing can cause wobble/vibrations?
About 2-3 years ago I was changing an outer CV joint, and I couldn't get the CV joint back into the wheel hub for some reason. I called over my local mechanic and he came with a mallet and pounded the crap out of my rotor/hub to get the cv joint back in. Ever since, I have shaking/wobbling around 10mph and when I brake hard at most speeds. I replaced everything already, all front control arms, rotors/brakes, struts, ended up getting new drive shafts, and I still have the wobble/shaking. Could it really be the wheel hub and/or wheel bearing? If so, advice on changing it?
Wheel alignment was done twice throughout the period of replacing everything...
ohh, its a 2001 Audi A6 2.7T Quattro...

What, is it a stupid question?
He hit it with a metal mallet like crazy so obviously its bent out of shape...?
I got a quote of $170 for the front bearings and hubs, let me know, so i can order it asap.
Please
