Got my car second hand, so apart from the wheel, what goes in the wheel well (or whatever it's called). There is this big styroform thing that has cut outs that look like something should go into it. But what?

Same thing with the tool box. What should be in there apart from the jack and the spanner to remove the wheel lugs?

I suspect having an avant might make a difference as to what goes where.

As far as I know those cutouts in the wheel well are just for extra storage - nothing goes there.

In the tool kit there should be a wrench, screwdriver with removeable handle, small wire tool for removing center caps, lug wrench, jack. I think I might be missing a few items - but without having it in front of me I'm not sure.

 

In my car, I have a Bose speaker on my passenger side, but like dude said, just for storage. I keep a flash light and jumper cables in mines........and my Refer[sm=pimp.gif] when I have some.

 

Costner is right about the jack set and tools. It's a good place to keep extra oil, flashlight, etc. And it's great for smuggling duty free booze in from Canada.
