great i bought a window motor thinking that was the problem but i guess its not

 

Oh, wow, really? It started doing that noise once the temperatures went below 50-60 in the mornings. Well now I'm not crapping bricks anymore . It literally sounds like a really loud vacuum cleaner going off. I have a friend with a Honda Civic, we were leaving from the movies at night. My A6 of course, cold, made the noise at startup. He gave me a "Haha, nice German car, jackass!" look, so it bummed me out for a while, lol. Now I can tell him "Yeah the people that made my car thought about that, and put in a secondary air pump to help warm the engine faster =)".
