Hey all I just got a replacement climate control unit for my 95 A6 and I need to be absolutely clear on removing the wood paneling around the climate control unit that is in the car now. Does it just pop off (gently) or are there screws that I am not seeing that have to be un done and then it pops off? If someone could please let me know, so I am not posting in the Wanted to Buy forums for wood paneling next week :-)

There are clips that go into the console, if you remove them carefully you should have no problem.
