Default Xenon headlight problem.

I have a 2003 Allroad 2.7 with xenon headlights. I recently had the front bumper and headlights off of the car. I was still starting and moving the car around without the headlights in the car. AfterIinstalled the lights and start the car I get a service light on the dash. The manual says it is a problem with the auto leveling system in the headlights. How can I clear this service code? I have access to a vag-com. Any ideas on this?

Most likly you just have faults for open circuits in the headlamps due to starting the car with the lamps unplugged. Just erase the faults. Its module 55 for headlamp range control on the vag com.

When I connect the vag-com to the car it says no communication with the headlight level control module. I have taken everything apart again and all connections look good. The owners manual says that there should be a fuse in the #10 position in the main fuse panel. My car does not have a fuse there or pins to accept a fuse. Could there be another fuse someplace else I am missing?
