Hi all. I own an A6 with 72K on the clock. My question is do I have a lot more trouble free driving ahead on average .Any inherent problems above this mileage? Btw the car is a 2007 Awe and has never had any issues of any kind. Thanks

An Awe? Never heard of that model. But I have 195k on my A6 and replaced the alternator and clutch/flywheel before 100k and only one pair of control arms since. I'm now at the point where I have to replace the differential seals and may have to replace the cats. But I consider the car reliable given how fast and fun it is to drive.

As long as you do routine and preventative maintenance, I say it will last you a long time. The only issue is that routine and preventative maintenance will cost you a good penny. Good thing is that I think your car is timing chain instead of timing belt.

I regularly run my cars to the 150k plus. As long as you maintained it regularly you should not have an issue. Maintenance is the key.
