I am looking to buy an S5 and found a 2010 S5 Prestige package with 38,000 miles. It is a CPO car with warranty until March 2016. It is ice silver with black interior and dealer will take $38,500 for the car. I like the ice silver but was looking for magma red or tucsan brown interior. What are your thoughts on price and the S5 in general? Gas mileage??

price is largely dependent on availability, and demand in your area. a CPO car is always going to demand a bit of a premium. Sounds like you found a decent car, however, it doesn't seem that it meets exactly what you want. perhaps it would be better to do a bit more searching to find magma red, or tuscan brown, as you indicate you would prefer.

As far as opinions, you are on an Audi forum. Most of us are "enthusiasts" and enjoy our cars and the quirks that come along with them. that said, I find the S5 to be teh seks and would be quite envious if you got yourself one.
