I've used my nav quite a bit, but for the first time I wanted to stop the routing before I reached my destination. Is there a simple way to do this that I'm missing?

I pushed and clicked everything including turning the car off, but it still wanted to direct me to my destination. It finally stopped, but I have no idea what I did to make that happen.

 

click NAV then click memory (top left button) and previous destination...thats how I normally stop mine
