Howdy,

dollarbil@mac.com here, I have a 1998 A8 and the power door locks quit then the trunk switch quit working, I cant get into the trunk because it has a different key that I don't have. Are the door locks and trunk electric? Can i replace a fuse and fix this problem or are they vacume operated? I want to start by getting the trunk open. Please advise.

Don't recall if the doors are pneumatic or not.
The trunk is electric.

If you have a ski pass, you can use a stick with a hook to capture the emergency release handle in the trunk to get it open.
