Hello Everyone,

We installed a interlock on the above mentioned car. The car ran fine for about a month then came back to the shop with problems. The mechanic diagnosed the issue as a starter problem. THe starter was replaced and now when we reinstall the interlock the car's security system engages and will not allow the car to start. If we remove the interlock the car works fine. From what I understand this car is a European version not an American version. Not sure if that has anything to do with it. THis is not the first Audi we have ever wired up but certainly the first with this problem. The interlock is just a starter kill device. Once you take a breath test and pass it the relay closes and allows you to start the car. An help would be appriciated.
