When I purchased my Audi A8L - the dealership was unable to make my phone connect to the car via Bluetooth, but they were able to connect other bluetooth phones to the car which demonstrated my phone was problematic.

The palm website had a easy explanation. The firmware on my phone was 1.04 and needed to be upgraded to 1.07.

The actual fix takes about 45 minutes to complete on your palm phone. Be aware that you MUST backup your palm first as it will get wiped out during the firmware upgrade.

Once I completed the upgrade, the car and phone were able to sync together and now works like a charm.
