Im am interested in changing out the tires/rims on my 2006 A8. I am now running 19" wheels and Bridgestone Serenity tires and am very pleased with the ride, handling and noise level. I am in the market for new tires and when I do buy them I am interested in moving up to 20" wheels and a maybe a little wider tire. Does anyone have any experience either good or bad regarding handling, noise, maintainance etc. Thanks in advance.

I think the 19/20 setup looks best.

 

I have 20's for my summer tires. I run Michelins on those. The ride is smooth and the handling is great, in dynamic mode. As for noise, none! I run 20in RS6 wheels on mine. I have gone down to 18's for my winters with Pirelli Sottozeros.

 

Running 20's for summer as well Hartmann QS-10's wrapped with Conti ExtremeContact DWs. Very quiet, very sticky and wearing quite well.
