Default Audi A8 D3 2004 4.0TDI

Hi
I have a Audi A8 D3 2004 4.0TDI and I am getting an intermittent warning light that suggests that one of the headlights is off. As this comes on and goes off I want to check the connections behind the main lamp unit but how easy is it to get to these? I have had a quick look but there seems a lot of stuff in the way, does much have to be removed to get to the wiring and connections behind the main headlamp units?

Thanks

I have removed the headlights on my A8. All I can say is suck it up and get started. It is a lot of screws, but it's not a big deal. Look for a poor or dirty connection. Sometimes just unplugging the light and plugging it in again works. Jetsam
