Camshaft Adjusting Valve
Hi guys,
I have a 2000 A8L. Need some help. The CEL keeps coming on. After trying to diagnose and fix myself had to bring it to the dealer. I come to find out that the Camshaft Adjusting Valves are history. Dealer quotes $1,400 for the new sensors and $2,800 for the Labor. I can't seem to find the parts anywhere online. Looks like the Labor is about 20hrs. Anyone have any experience with this? Do you have to take the heads off or something to replace these? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
