Don't get one stuck!!!!
My 2001 is admittedly due for new tires, and we just got a 12+ inch blizzard through here. While trying to get it out of my driveway so I could plow I got it pretty well stuck in the snow, and was amazed to find that there was really NOTHING in front or back that I could attach a tow rope to. Is there something I was missing?
There should be a little square in the front bumper you pop out, then there is a hook that screws into the crash beam thats in your emergency tool kit in the trunk. The back should also have a hook mounted to the frame somehwere under the car.
Thanks for the tip, I did pop a small plastic square out of the rear bumper but found nothing, also nothing but smooth plastic under the back as far as I could reach. Of course things are easier when it's not 9pm and your Audi is not surrounded by 2 feet of snow.
It is funny last week, for the first time in three years, I got my 04 stuck. I just wrapped a toe strap around the axel and gently pulled it out with my SUV. The chasis was hung-up and the wheels were just spinning. What I should have done is to raise the car with the MMI and I think I would have been good to go.
