First problem with my '03 A8L - help?
The car has been perfect since I bought it in Dec 06 - but the other day something strange happened...
I was accelerating off an on ramp to merge into traffic - the car 'bucked'and the ABS and CHECK ENGINE light immediately came on. The car has been running perfectly since, no bucking, no noises, nothing... what happened??? The lights are still on...

You're going to have to find someone to VAG it for you, to find out WTF is going on with the lights. As to the one-time bucking... That'd be hard to diagnose based off of what we know, so far. Need more info.
Goto the General Tech section and check the "stickies" at the top of the thread listings, one of them starts out, "Need a VAG-COM..." or something like that. Check there, see if you can find someone near you with a VAG, a thirst for beer, and a Saturday free. Let us know what codes you get, then we'll do our best to give you good advice...
