Default High Output Alternator
I cant find a high output alternator for my car. I got a 06 A8. Is this because the car already has a h.o. alternator and I don't need one? Or is it just not available?

What the heck would you want a high output alternator for? I think the one thats currently on there puts out 120amps which is a crap ton as it is.

i was told if i put a sound system in its gonna eventually kill the alternator

Bull, if you are gonna put in a really big bad system, the most you would need to reduce the electrical load would be one or two power capacitors that are inline with the amplifiers.

And maybe a second battery with isolater... A good sound shop will be able to tell you all you need.
