homelink help

hey i need some help activating my homelink system to my garage opener umm i dont have a remote opener and was wondering if it was possible to sync the homelink without a remote?

You need someone to push the button inside i believe, it just has to pick up the signal when its activated. Watch the video on the homelink website, it should explain everything in detail.
