How to seafoam an D2?
Hello fellow Audi owners!
I bought myself an 2002 a8 4.2 Quattro about 1 year ago. Changed the timing belt, waxed and polished it regularly and been taking care of it as if it was my wife. But I do have one question for you guys / girls:
If I were to seafoam my engine, which vacuum line should I choose? and where can I find a line like this? where is it located?
Really wanna seafoam it before I change spark plugs and oil+filter.
Since it´s been rolling 160 000 miles soon, I guess it will make a pretty big difference!
Thanks in advance, Kevin Nordaas (from Norway, live in Daytona Beach FL)

Start by reading past discussions ("search forum")...I took the liberty:

As you'll read, there are a few ways to use Seafoam. Running through the intake is done by using any vacuum line directly connected to the intake...a couple of good examples in the pic below...the large on would be my choice (front of manifold above changeover valves.
While you're there (speaking of lost power), look at this tutorial to check to see that manifold changeovers are working correctly...if never serviced, they could be stuck, causing huge losses of power:
