: Hello ive got a problem on my dads A8 4.0 TDI 2005 when i installed firmware 5570 the adaptive cruise control desapeared from the mmi options is there any way to get it back and how ?

please i need help ive got a vagcom but dont know where to activate it please help

Call audi, you may have flashed it with the wrong software.

 

When you do a ZUG update, the MMI is set to factory default. You need to go into J523 Front info dipsplay control head and do an adaptation, select the applicable functions the vehicle is equipped with. Then you have to do an MMI reset, after that all the functions should be back. You should be able to reset the MMI by pressing the lower left button (TEL or SETUP), center **** and the upper right **** (volume control) at the same time. The instructions should be in the MMI operation manual for a reset in the owners packet.
