HI AUDI people,
never had an audi but always liked A8 tried to find out what porblems these cars usually have around 100K.Not much found.So today I found this car http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...ang=&cardist=3
So tell me what you think about the car,miles,price.What should I expect from car with this mileage?

its top of the range spec and at 100k its just run in these engines are bullet proof if maintained to the book,
it has to have a full Audi service history for that price otherwise leave it alone, price is reasonable but negotiate never get over anxious to the sellers this makes the cocky and over enthusiastic at getting the marked price "check everything" and have a good drive in it till its well up to normal operating temperature this is when things the go wrong show up

 

The price seems right on target, make sure to check Carfax and look up where the car was serviced and whether all the scheduled maintenance was done on time.
With that mileage you're looking at some pretty significant maintenance and repair costs, it all depends if you're willing to stomach it.

Ask about the control arms (whether they have been replaced and how long ago)

Make sure to test drive as many A8s as you can in order to find out how the car is supposed to feel, it'll help weed out examples that haven't been well taken care of.

Make sure EVERYTHING works, right down to the every single function on the power seats, windows, shades, roof, wipers, etc.
