I just got a 2004 a8l 4.2. I noticed that my instrument cluster and accessories r pretty dim while driving at night. I trying turning them higher but nothing happens, they wont change. They will get brighter when i shine some light on the dash though.. Please, am i missing anything? I am Losing it trying to figuire this thing out

 

So you went into the MMI and tried turning the interior lighting up to max and its still dim?

 

In mmi, i went to car -> systems. All i see is instument cluster and background lighting.

IC. only lets me change the speed warning and trip comp

BL. just plays around with the interior lights on the roof, floor and doors....

The dash gets bright when there is light inside the cabin but wont let me manually override by adjusting the brightness control.
