hey..i'm completely new to this...have a 99 a8 quattro....love it...but the ac and heat both won't blow at all..unless i take a turn extremely fast...i had an absolute moron as mechanic who tried to charge me 1800. and it still didn't work after he had it over a week..well..any one please help? can I fix this myself? i am not to mechinically inclined....please help

 

You may want to try reading thru some of the older posts in this section. I believe there was a similar post with a similar problem. I think the motor controls all fucntions for speed of the blower motor, so you probably have a bad blower motor. However if there is a serperate resistor block, which i dont think there is, that could also be at fault.
