Default purchase fallow up

Posted last month about purchasing an a8 and what I should expect to pay for a certain mileage(being that I want to spend $16k).
I found an 04 a8l 135,569 miles black/black one owner going for $12,890 at the dealer. looking at the carfax it looks like it have been well maintained (timing belt been checked at 75k, haven't confirmed if it have been changed yet). I'm quite handy mechanically and think I should be able to fix a few issues that might come along.
I'm aware that at that mileage, sensors will/might start going bad(can they be inspected and changed before thy go bad?). I'm now wondering if at that mileage, should I stay away are go ahead with it an just keep keeping up with the maintenance.

Thanks in advance.

Forgot to mention. There is a 9-10 inch dent under the passenger side doore

I too am looking at a 2004 a8L but with 45000 miles $19K. I'm having the same thoughts as you. Although the mileage is not very high, repairs and maintenance are my main concern. Everyone has advised me to look for a new model with higher mileage. But I can't get myself to walk from this car. I'm sure I'll end up buying it. I've even look up extended warranty for the vehicle and it covers a lot of items but not the big $ issues.

I don't know much but I do know that the body is made out of aluminum, if you are looking to get the dent repaired you can't take to just any body shop. A friend of mine does paintless dent removal (He pushes the dent back out using tools from the inside.) said he cant do any repairs on aluminum and there are very few shops that do.

Sorry if I'm not much help. Good luck in what ever you decide.
