I have a 1999 A8 4.2l, I just replaced the battery and now the radio won't work. It displays "SAFE" on it. I read I need some code, but I bought the car used and have no manual for it....What do I do.....Help!

 

Look in the trunk, you may find the code in a sticker where the spare tire is. It may not be obvious tho.

yea, you can't get it from that sticker in the trunk. you'll need to get the serial number of your radio and the Vin# of your car, then you can obtain the code from the dealer... if your car didn't originally come with that radio, you may need to take your car into the dealership for them to hook you up into their central database.
