Rear Side window shades stuck

Rear Side window shades stuck

For some reason the rear side shades on my 2009 A8L will now only extend about half way up...I don't want to force them further for fear of damaging something.

Has anyone run into this or know of a simple fix?

Is that not covered under factory warranty?
