shadowline trim

What is the best way to black out the chrome trim on a A8? I would prefer not to use the tape unless it has gotten alot better in the last 20yrs.

Try www.shadowline-tape.com That is what I used. They carry tape and vinyl. I ordered the tape, because they said it goes around the corners so much easier, and it did. I tried the vinyl a couple years ago and had a lot of problems.
