1. After doing a nonstop 400 mile trip from Ithaca to NJ (i got lost btw) the AC started to make an annoying high pitched squeel and being a person with perfect pitch, this High B-flat WEEEEEEEEE noise is annoying the hell outta me and my ears...its not loud just prominant espeically with my windows down. Everytime the AC is on, the sound comes on. Could it be the compressor, dying fan, or lax fan belt?

2. Also the check engine light came on during my trip

3. The tranny thumps between 2nd and 1st gears while slowing down..argghh

btw im 22 yrs old and just have a new job I am beginning to re think owning an A8 CHAAACHING....:-/

anyone wants to buy it so i can get a car where i dont have to change the timing belt?


btw it drives like a tiger on highways....feels way too good to drive it...just the fact that i have to baby it scares me


also another tit bit...i have never driven before this is my 4th week with a licence and an A8 is my first car ever...talk about luck...i must be truly blessed or am I?
