My wife bought a 2012 Audi Q5 Prestige a couple weeks ago. It has all the bells and whistles of the Prestige model with the MMI audio system. She has a Samsung Galaxy S4 cell phone which we can connect to the car via Bluetooth and it runs the phone functions without issue from the steering wheel. Voice calls, answering, etc. The problem we have is that she wants to play her music files stored on the phone on the radio as well. Currently she has to open the glove box and connect with a cable and lay the phone on the seat. Every time she wants to fast forward she has to unlock the phone and do it while driving.. yeah, I know... not what we want, no steering wheel control.


I've been reviewing the forums and am getting different information. Can our 2012 Audi Q5 prestige work with a Samsung Galaxy S4 to run the phone via Bluetooth for audio? or do we have something setup or connected incorrectly.


Also, our phones are up for free renewal in 60 days with Verizon and we'll either be into a new iPhone or new Galaxy S5 or S6. Do these phones connect the radio for audio control via Bluetooth and we just need to wait until we get them?
