I have a 2013 A4 and I love it. I am now selling my FJ Cruiser to buy a Q7. Initially I had planned to buy a low mileage 2013 S-Line, but after doing tons of price shopping it looks like a used 2013 with 15K miles is only about $5000-$7000 cheaper than a new one.

What type of discounting is a good discount on a new 2014 Q7? I am looking for one with S-Line Prestige (both interior and exterior), and the Technology package.

Q: will dealers match the carsdirect discount shown on the internet?

I was hoping to get a 2013 for low $50's, but sellers are holding firm on price of $58K or so for the used ones I like. If I have to pay $58K, why not buy new?

I found the same thing. I don't know where you are located, but I found the largest selection of CPO vehicles on Cars.com. There are some good deals out there; but these vehicles really retain their value. If you purchase a CPO you get an extended warranty that will more than cover the mileage on the vehicle.

I could not find a vehicle optioned exactly like I wanted therefore I ordered a new one. But if I wasn't so exact in the options and colors I wanted; I could have saved some money buying used. I actually preferred to do that as I have had really good success in the past doing that; but couldn't find exactly what I wanted.
