I'm thinking about buying my first Audi in 2014. I just wanted to see if anyone had insight on buying a low mileage 2013 vs buying a new 2014. There seems to be about a 10k difference in price.

Besides not being the first owner and not getting the new car experience what are the pros and cons of each?

 

just bought a 2013 a6 that was a dealer demo. it only had 5600 miles and it was 12k cheaper. loaded. i couldnt be happier.

 

As with any new vehicle they loose 4-10k the second you drive them off the lot..

Sert, can you give me any insight on how you got the demo? Did you talk to someone in advance or just showed up and see what they had?

 

just showed up. we dickered about what they were asking which was 12k off msrp and i got it for 15k off msrp.

 

Thanks for the advice. I started to contact two local dealers and made them compete for my business. One, the more local one, jumped through my hoops for my business. They gave me a deal that I am happy with. I take ownership of my first audi tomorrow.

Hopefully just in time for the big snow storm they are predicting for the east coast
