Default Buy 2013 or wait for 2014?

Currently I have a 2008 a4 dolphin grey with 48,000 miles.

I want to purchase to 2013 A4, and trade in my a4 before it depreciates too much. All my friends and relatives are advising me against trading it in, saying that I will lose money in the long run...how? If I keep the car for 2 more years and have 85,000 miles I'll get less trade in value and have to pay more out of pocket?

Am I making the right decision by trading it in now?

Also , I've been reading a lot about the 2014 a4 and it seems pretty badass. Is that worth waiting for?

Well I believe in present rather than thinking about future. So just go for it and I am sure you will not face any loss while trading.

The only loss you'll have is from the trade-in itself and that won't change waiting. By that I mean the dealer will sell the trade-in for the same price you would get selling it privately so check on craigslist and see the going price for your same car to get an idea of what your losing on the deal.
