21" Tires - Is There One That Will Last??
I have a 2013 Q7 with OEM 21" wheels and Dunlop OEM tires. I have been happy with them, but I am disappointed that I am replacing them at 20,000 miles.
I want a tire that is quiet on the freeway, and that lasts long. Is this possible with this car? Any suggestions??

Throwing myself on the sword - Chinese Tire test
So I've recently purchased a 2014 Q7 TDI S-Line. The Michelin's that were on it wore out super quick. I've been combing the forums looking for a good tire that wont break the bank that will last more that 15K miles. Everyone seems to say that the Conti's were the best mileage tire but Im not in a place to drop $1100 plus labor and alignment. So.... I bought some Goldway R828 (same as Durun M626) 295/35-21, They are rated 460 A A, got all 4 to the door for $400, the rubber is definitely firmer than the Mich's, had to drive home in the pouring rain so my first test was a wet one. The performed quite well. I can say they resisted Hydroplaning extremely well.
Yes, I know they are cheap Chinese tires. but I figured if I'm going to get 15K or less out of a tire I'd rather be out $400 than $1100..lol
So if anyone cares I'll update from time to time on wear and performance.
