Best High Mileage Oil for 2012 Q7 3.0?
I have owned my 2012 Q7 3.0 for 2 years, and I drive a lot during busy times for Uber and Lyft. It's decent money, and it's not my main job. While I drive a lot of miles in a year (50k miles), I do not drive like a jerk: I usually am driving smoothly and calmly, so I don't scare the heck out of the passengers. I go to a Bosch service center where I know the owner, and they use Mobil 1's European Formula 0w-40. I live in Chicago (hot summers, cold winters). My car currently has 145,000 miles on it. My concern is that I'm not getting anywhere close to 10kmiles between oil changes (because I get oil changes when I notice it running rough, well before that mark), and I'm having to add 1.5-2 quarts of oil between oil changes. I know Audis can burn oil, but it's a bit ridiculous.
Is there a better Oil I could be using? Also, I spent about a half hour looking, but could not find a thread with this information. If you could reply with that (if it already exists), I'd greatly appreciate it.
