Hello Q7 Gang. I finally purchased a 2007 Q7 yesterday. It has the 4.2 engine, but NO sunroof. It is in excellent cosmetic shape. Before buying I took it to a Master Audi Tech for a pre-purchase inspection - worth every penny. It runs and drives very well, and eats up the highway miles. Now for the issues. I have to replace the oil pan gasket, the passenger's side cam cover gasket, and service the oil separator. From what I can see the oil pan gasket will be a big job as there are other items that need to be disassembled first. All in all I'm very happy with this Q7.

 

Well...5 days later and I'm still loving it! Quite a machine!

 

Get used to it! I've had mine for 6 months and we love it. We had to replace the fuel pump due to leaking, but that was an existing issue when we bought it. All in all, we love the power, luxury, options, and really everything. No complaints.
