Has anyone got XM in their q7.
just got an 08 q7 and it comes with sirius.

I called audi and they have no solutions

Does anyone in this list have xm integrated?

You would have to buy the XM module and have the Sirius module exhanged at the dealer. The new module would be around $500 and they would probably give you a certain amount for the Sirius module. Un-less you just bought the car you might be able to negotiate an exhange.

 

so i called the 1800 audi number and they said it is no longer available since 2005

 

No kidding? I wonder why you can still get a XM module for every other vehicle but not the Q7, maybe it has something to do with sirius buying out XM. I have no idea then.

 

XM and Sirius meged and are merging their programming. I would not lay out $500 to have the radio changed. You may want to contact Sirius and see what the time table is. Last I read, the FCC will not let the merged company keep both Broadcast frequencies. I am not sure how they intend to resolve.
